WILD BILL (Theatrical Release USA 1995)

Ben Meyers’ rating: 4.1|5.0 Starsìììì

Wild Bill—
much better than the 2017 Hickok movie—begins monotonously with one gunfight after another and then mellows out to tell Bill Hickok’s story through his past. It seems like a more realistic portrayal of the life and times of James Butler Hickok and casts him in a darker light with Jeff Bridges interpreting the persona of Hickok. Great work for Director Walter Hill.
