AFTER EARTH (Theatrical Release USA 2013)

 Ben Meyers’ rating: 3.7|5.0 Starsììì

After Earth—great concept— accesses the skills of the father and son team, Will and Jaden Smith, to create this action/adventure film. Will and Jaden Smith work well together, but this film does have the same charisma between the two actors as their movie, The Pursuit of Happyness. This movie’s story is simple with a linear, easy-to-follow story; but an audience may feel like they wanted more than was presented here. The film is about finding a beacon and that is it.
