The Story of the Bee Gees—bland short documentary—does not tell much about the musical group but details how successful some of their songs were and how others failed. Their personal relationship works like their music did…on and off with split up and return together. There is some archival footage, and the film is good for hearing some of their better music but overall the short film is not highly interesting.

Yes. Not much mental involvement is required, but it does require a sit-down viewing to stay atop the story. This documentary is mostly about Bee Gee music with a small sprinkle of their story thrown in as an afterthought.
