RIO (Theatrical Release USA 2011)

Ben Meyers’ rating: 4.3|5.0 Starsìììì

Rio—one of the best animated films since Blue Sky Studios’ Ice Age movies—shows how dialogue, animation, voice casting, timing, storyline, and musical score all work together to produce this wonderful, fresh entertainment piece that will increase in value through the years. A dazzling kaleidoscope of vibrant color and rhythm of motion tie every scene together flawlessly to beguile audiences of all ages to wish deeply that the story will never end. Listen for the singing talents of Jamie Foxx and Will.I.Am  and listen to some outstanding whistling in the song "Fly Love". The voicing for the Blue Macaws as done by Jesse Eisenberg and Anne Hathaway is great. Listen for George Lopez’ voice as the Toucan.
