FORREST GUMP (Theatrical Release USA 1994)

Ben Meyers’ rating: 4.9|5.0 Starsìììì

Forrest Gump—
a complete tour de force, an ode to life, a masterpiece—wins the Golden Movie Ticket award for outstanding entertainment. Tom Hanks is perfectly cast in this Robert Zemeckis-directed film. Tastefully done, it completely frees itself from artifice and plays on a field of honesty and integrity. It may be classed in future as one of the best films ever made. This is an encore une, deux, trois fois film. It’s the human factor expanded to its fullest extent. Superb from its beginning to its end.
