INNERSPACE (1987 USA)

Ben Meyers’ rating: 3.9|5.0 Starsììì

Innerspace—an Amblin Entertainment sci-fi comedy—may not have performed so well as an overall entertainment piece if it were not for the casting combination of Dennis Quaid and Martin Short with Meg Ryan thrown in for a little spicy tang. There’s plenty here to see; the script is well-done.

Storyline

In a human miniaturization research project volunteer Lieutenant Tuck Pendleton (Dennis Quaid) is injected into Safeway clerk Martin Putter (Martin Short) rather than a lab rabbit.

Buy a ticket? Yes? No? Maybe?

Yes. It’s always a treat to see another Martin Short movie. He’s a talented Class A act all the way.
