THE ADDAMS FAMILY (Theatrical Release USA 1991)

Ben Meyers’ rating: 4.3|5.0 Starsìììì

The Addams Family
is quirky and delivers a seamless stream of everything we love about the Addams family with nothing lost as the audience is dipped into another love affair with Morticia and Gomez Addams played in this film by Angelica Huston and Raúl Juliá. While movies can often spiral into their own television series well, it’s not always easy to work a television series into a good movie. This movie blows the lid off that concept with its surreal rendition of the Addams family in all their idiosyncratic behavior. Christopher Lloyd is just plain perfect as the character Fester. It’s a clean family friendly film and a good adult/child share watch.

Yes. It’s true to the ‘T’ to the original series and satisfies right down to its hearse and music.
