CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER (Theatrical Release USA 2011)

Ben Meyers’ rating: 4.2|5.0 Starsìììì

Captain America: The First Avenger
—superb special effects with above average storyline and acting—serves the Marvel comic book fan well. While the movie loses pace at some points during the film, as in Captain America’s return to end Red Skull’s scheme, it quickly regains its pace and concludes with a staging that sets an opening for 2012’s making of The Avengers. This movie works at a surprisingly high level of entertainment…almost as good as Black Panther and serves as a very good credit for the work of Director Joe Johnston (Jumanji and October Sky).
