GULLIVER'S TRAVELS (Theatrical Release USA 1939)

Ben Meyers’ rating: 3.9|5.0 Starsììì

Gulliver’s Travels—creatively and kindly written—has great character voicing and relies on a slower paced animated style that is refreshing and welcome. Comedy comes in unexpected form such as the messenger and the simplest disagreements that can aggravate the disruption of peace. Terrific additions to this movie were the love between the prince and princess as well as choosing two kings who could not agree to a solution to stop war in its tracks.
