THE CAVE (Theatrical Release USA 2005)

Ben Meyers’ rating: 3.6|5.0 Starsììì

The Cave requires better special effects, a unique storyline, and actors with higher skill level for the movie to become a desirable watch. It quickly works itself into an I’ve seen this before movie due to its thin story and lack of realism. It may work as a background party flick.

? Yes? No? Maybe?

No. The movie, a coulda, woulda, shoulda horror film, cannot serve its function due to scenes that fail to achieve ‘scary’ and actors who seem digitized rather than real (without recognizable human traits that respond to horror in a different manner).
