My Cat Lucy—large concept for a short film—could easily expand its concept into a full-length, comedy film. While this film itself did not explore the original concept well and left the audience with the question of why this is important, it did conclude with a cliff hanger to intimate that the story has not concluded yet.

Maybe. The concept is there, but the rich storyline is missing and the portrayal is poor. The film needs more work in those two areas.
