Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life—t
he second installment of Lara Croft Tomb Raider accomplishes what many sequels do not succeed in doing—exceed the performance of the original movie. Wow! What a movie! If you wanted an action-packed movie with a great storyline, you get exactly that. Director Jan De Bont orchestrates this film without missing a beat in timing or tone. Kudos for Angelina Jolie performing superbly again as Lara. An enjoyable addition to this film is Gerard Butler as character Terry Sheridan—a GREAT casting combination choice for balancing Angelina Jolie's strong character. Lara’s computer guy/electrician/engineer Bryce is still played by Noah Taylor while Til Schweiger outdoes himself as the character Sean.
