TROLLHUNTER (Threatrical Release USA 2010)

Ben Meyers’ rating: 2.9|5.0 Starsìì

Trollhunter—
a mockumentary (a film that is presented like a documentary, except completely fictional in character)—is interesting and worth at least an investigation if for no reason other than having the experience. However, don’t expect to be entertained or to take a ‘Wow, that was great’ home. It’s not that type of creative effort. It is slow and…different. It is a creative work in itself which requires an artistic eye to appreciate.

Buy a ticket? Yes? No? Maybe?

Yes. It’s a film that originates in Norway and it’s a quick, unforgettable piece of entertainment that gives a small look into Norweigian culture and manner of entertaining.
