BLADE (Theatrical Release USA 1998)

Ben Meyers’ rating: 3.9|5.0 Starsììì

Blade
has enough audience appeal to create two sequel films—Blade II and Blade Trinity. Westley Snipes creates a strong onscreen presence in this role and is fortunate to have an interesting concept and script to base that presence on.

Buy a ticket? Yes? No? Maybe?

Yes. It may not be the best vampire movie, but it manages to place itself into the more highly rated vampire movies and serves as a good study for the directing skills of Stephen Norrington.
