The Eagle
has lots of ‘bells and whistles’ in its special effects and screen shots...good camera work. But, that’s about it. Nothing more and nothing less.

Storyline

A Roman soldier breaches Hadrian’s Wall to recover one of Rome’s missing standards.

Yes. The movie is not a film that everyone raves about, but it works because of its good special effects.
