MEMORIAL DAY (Newport Beach Film Festival Newport Beach California USA 2012)

Memorial Day
—good concept—plays like a cookie-cutter movie. It’s an ‘I’ve seen this before’ entertainment  piece. It does not seem appropriate for a grandfather to use a grandson as a nose tissue to cry into...however, the healthful need to release certain memories is understood and sometimes it takes a certain set of circumstances to allow that release. This film illustrates that.
