The Terminator—
another top-of-the-line Arnold Schwarzenegger action filmdelivers the message that if you rid yourself of things that are harmful to you, you will have a better life. All humor aside, the story is the quintessence of superlative and matchless tension laced with special effects.

Kyle Reese (Michael Biehn) is sent from the future to protect Sarah Conner (Linda Hamilton), a woman destined to produce a child who will lead people against a self-aware defense network bent on destroying the human race. At the same time Kyle Reese is sent back, the defense network has sent back a cyborg terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger) to exterminate Sarah Conner before she gives birth to this child.
