THE FIGHTER (Theatrical Release USA 2010)

 Ben Meyers’ rating: 4.2|5.0 Starsìììì

The Fighter—based on a true story—accesses the acting talents of Christian Bale and Mark Wahlberg to present its story. All supporting cast did a perfect job to define this lifestyle and working through the ranks to fight for a better style of life. The portrayal is great. The movie deserves a watch by a sophisticated, adult audience.

? Yes? No? Maybe?

Yes. This is a realistic movie that works at the roughest level of life and delivers ‘on spot’ scenes of how to keep a family together despite all odds. It is an adult view only. Be aware that it is very raw but has a most unexpected conclusion. Terrific sports watch for the boxing enthusiast. Not a Rocky due to its grittiness, but definitely a do not miss film.
