THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN (Theatrical Release USA 2012)

 Ben Meyers’ rating: 4.2|5.0 Starsìììì

The Amazing Spider-Man
—remake of the 2002 Spider-man movie—plays Andrew Garfield in the role of Spider-Man; Sally Fields and Martin Sheen for the roles of Peter Parker’s Aunt and Uncle. While the screen presence of these three seems stronger than the 2002 version, the acting itself is not quite as good as the 2002 version. Watch for the cameo appearance of Stan Lee, the comic book creator of Spider-man, as the school librarian in a comical scene that defines the word ‘oblivious’.

? Yes? No? Maybe?

Yes. The movie is a good rewrite of the 2002 movie. Choose the 2012 or the 2002 version of the story as the quality of both movies is quite similar.
