LEAN ON ME (Theatrical Release USA 1989)

Ben Meyers’ rating: 4.2|5.0 Starsìììì

Lean on Me—rare inspirational treasure—builds itself on the concept that one person can make a tremendous difference in the lives of many by expecting more and seeing potential not realized. WOW! The movie takes the ‘less’ out of the word hopeless. Morgan Freeman gives a commanding performance. The film deserves its place in the home video library.

? Yes? No? Maybe?

Yes. Educational and realistic. Inspiring. Wonderful watch that completely entertains. The film is a good study piece of some of the earlier acting roles of Morgan Freeman...he sweetly plumbs the depths of passion, intensity, authority, and focused purpose in this movie.
