Preheated—short film with an interesting introduction—withers through its body to its conclusion with illogical reactions to odd predicaments and then does not give good closure. The characters have good personalities that can easily be liked. The storyline is the main challenge due to improper reactions Audiences will either like it or not like it.

A chemistry experiment accidently moves outside the laboratory into the home kitchen.

Buy a ticket? Yes? No? Maybe?

No. Expectations run high for this short film due to the title and the movie poster. But it runs into illogical when the father becomes not so interested that his invention may have value and when he exercises complacency about his son’s new skills.
