THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW (Theatrical Release USA 2004)

 Ben Meyers’ rating: 4.1|5.0 Starsìììì

The Day After Tomorrow—apocalyptic movie—accesses the talents of Dennis Quaid, Jake Gyllenhaal, Ian Holm, Sala Ward, Emmy Roussum, and Glenn Plummer. The visuals from outer space of North America freezing over are a nice touch. There are some dialogue lines that are fresh, creative, and meaningful. The movie is worth a single watch.

? Yes? No? Maybe?

Yes. Nothing really new here. It’s a simple, apocalyptic film that works when one is in the mood to see a world destroyed. Good work for all involved in its production.
