BEYOND THE STARS (Theatrical Release Canada 1989)

Ben Meyers’ rating: 3.9|5.0 Starsììì

Beyond the Stars—bland, nothing new—presents a team of Christian Slater, Martin Sheen, and F. Murray Abraham to portray its story. The movie may work as a young adult film to fill in time, but it runs as a rather uninteresting movie.

? Yes? No? Maybe?

Yes. If one is a fan of Martin Sheen and/or Christian Slater, then that factor may encourage viewing; but know that this movie does not work as most science fiction dramas work.
