POILUS (Internet Release France 2016)

Ben Meyers’ rating: 3.9|5.0 Starsììì

Poilus—short film—uses a French word as its title. The word means an Infantry soldier in the Army of France, usually during WWI. This short film needs more expansion to understand its obscure message and intent. While It is difficult to interpret, the animation is impeccable.

Rabbits go to war.

Additional Thanks

Thank you to Isart Digital and the animation team that made the video possible.

Buy a ticket? Yes? No? Maybe?

Yes. The detail in the animation is worth the watch. It is a stern reminder of the courage it took to fight during WWI with so little fire power and backup for men in the trenches.
